César Ordóñez develops his activity mainly between Barcelona (his hometown) and Tokyo. Usually through an indirect style, he uses the visual language as a tool for proposing a change of consciousness in the human being. His work is focused on the beauty of existence and its fragility. Exploring how our thoughts, feelings and attitudes, influence our environment and the daily evolution of the societies in which we live, and vice versa.
He has exhibited –among others countries– in Spain, Mexico, France, Russia, Japan, South Korea and China. His works are part of important art collections as: Auer Photo Foundation (Geneva, Switzerland), Fundació Fotocolectania (Barcelona, Spain) and Fundación Unicaja (Malaga, Spain). Recently, he has published his first photobook: Tokyo Blur.
